celebrimbor

Idk if I'll use this for other drawings. But for now, Celebrimbor, Curufin (left), and Fëanor (right) in the shadow of Sauron's plots. "You were never alone, littlest one. Not in life. Not in death." The idea behind this was Celebrimbor creating the three rings, but midway through, starting...

After Celegorm and Curufin left Nargothrond, Celebrimbor stayed. Did he only leave when it was destroyed, or was it earlier? And did he immediately go build Eregion, or were there any events in between?

https://thetolkien.forum/threads/i-will-hold-your-hand-again.32211/ This is a companion to my other story 'The Works of Curufinwë'. However, it is somewhat more speculative, since it is about Curufin and his wife, who is unnamed in Tolkien's writings. The first chapter is set in Valinor. Love to...

I Will Hold Your Hand Again (A companion story to The Works of Curufinwë) by S.R.G. The first two chapters are set during Curufin's life in Valinor. The rest of the story is set far in the future, after the events of the books, and can be read as an epilogue to The Works of Curufinwë. 1...

The Works of Curufinwë (Or: Curufin and Celebrimbor) by S.R.G. 1. The Green Gem (you are here!) [1813 words] 2. His Son [2013 words] 3. Oath, Sword and Dagger [2735 words] 4. Band of Steel [1279 words] 5. Fortress [1442 words] 6. Dark Horse and Straight Shot [2013 words] 7. Fearful Hearts (...

Why did they choose such an old actor for celebrimbor? Just like Galadriel, celebrimbor was born in Valinor. But why did they cast an old actor for Celebrimbor when Galadriel was so young? I would expect it appearance like Aragorn at most. I wish there was a face like celebrimbor in shadow of...

In the book called A Dictionary of Tolkien and in the lotr.fandom wiki it says that celebrimbor fought in the first age wars. My question is, is this possible? Was celebrimbor mature enough to fight during the wars of beleriand?

Celebrimbor or Fëanor? The two greatest Smith's save Aulë in Tolkien's world. But who is better? The creator of the silmarils Vs the man who wrought the rings of power. I cannot say. Who is mightiest in their work, not their power in battle.

The Prophecy of the North states that those who follow Fëanor and his sons would fall under the "curse". But we know Celebrimbor abandoned his family when they were kicked out of Nargothrond. Does this mean he was freed from their curse? It doesn't seem like he made the Oath like his father...

As we all know, celebrimbor fought in dagor bragollach and fall of gondolin. so had been in nirnaeth arnoediad and war of wrath?

Gil-Galad was the son of Orodreth (who himself was the son of Angrod) and dwelt in Nargothrond, whilst Celebrimbor was the son of Curufin, who remained in Nargothrond after his father and uncle left because he felt ashamed of their deeds. Now, in the Shibboleth of Fëanor, Gil-Galad is said to...

Hey, I was wondering whether the history of Eregion was expanded anywhere, especially the story of Celebrimbor's war against Sauron and his subsequent loss (and death).

*This thread was started by ithrynluin using our posts from the Greatest Elf thread* Well in LotR appendix Celebrimbor is descendant of Feanor, he was made so in the second edition of LotR. Then Tolkien wrote two notes (please... when did he write these notes or is it known??) about this in...

This is a incredibly easy question but I don't have my books on me so i cant remember it. Who was the father of Celebrimbor? His grandfather was Feanor, but which of the sons of Feanor had Celebrimbor?
