eye of sauron

For me it would have to be this one. The harp, the singer's voice and honestly the following imagery of the New Line Cinemas regretfully unused content for Peter Jacksson's trilogy does not hurt either.

Two months ago, for my writing class final, I did a project on lotr! My project was mainly about differences between the books and the Peter Jackson films' representation of the Eye of Sauron. personally, I find that the films' depiction of the Eye has made it even more confusing than in the...

The eye of Souron Was the eye of Souron supposed to be a litteral eye like in the movies? I never thought of it this way, when I read the books I always thought of it as just his symbol. Thats one reason why I burst out laughing in RotK when it showed Frodo and Sam hiding from the eye. I never...

Me and my cousin, while driving home from work, got into a heated debate over whether the Eye of Sauron had some fancy Elvish like name, other than The Eye of Sauron, The Eye of Mordor, and those terms. Now I know I'm right... but there isn't any fancy termonology for the Eye...

What do you think about the way the Eye of Sauron was represented? I think it looked too much like something out of a sci-fi movie, the eye being between two metal "posts" and "electricity" being present all around it (it looked like some kind of teleportation device to me). I would prefer a...
