I’m not sure if this subject was polled already sometime in the past, but I’m curious to know what incident was most upsetting to readers of The Silmarillion. I realize I’ve listed quite a few choices, but I wanted to see which choice aroused the most emotion.

I just thought i would like to find out which book out of the children of hurin and the silmarillion everybody liked best. feel free to explain why. I would love to hear your opinions.;) MWAAHAAHAAHAAHAAHAA!!!!!!!

Hey I don't know how true this is, but some guy from my class at my college said that PJ said he bought the movie rights to the Hobbit and the Sil on disc 2 of the extended version of FotR, in the director commentary. Can anyone validate this? I haven't had a chance to listen to it.
