Strategic Background
Learning the lessons from the 1st Wain-riders war that Gondor still could take the upper hands iffighting on anysingle battlefront.Making the most of his absolutely superior all kinds of resources whether human or materials, Dark lord alliance established Operation Pincer, having their new alley Harrad opened the 2nd battlefield from the Gondor’s southern front, forming a strategic pincer tothrust Gondor heartlands from both Umbar southerly and Black-Gate northerly,as it’s named.
DarkLord Northern Battlefront operation summary
Easterling-North Territorial Army’s Black-Gate corps under Maj. Gn Leo’s command revealed their true color at Cair-Andros on1943/11/20, beingthe thorn in the whole Gondor’s Northern Battlefield’sflesh due to it’s tremendous strength composed of 100000 personnel along with hundreds of a variety of artillery and war-machines. Nazgul Gn Er-Murazor led the main offenses force, composed of 200000 personnel, at least thousands of artillery and all kinds of war machines from more than 20 Easterling states, forming the Great Host.
Easterling-North Subjugation Expedition,under Lt. Castamir’s Legion, under the command of Nazgul Gn. Akhôrahil, composed of 100000 Dark Numenorean wouldact as reserves. As most of the Harrad states were wavering or limited to pledge their loyalty, Khamul decided to force them to be with the Dark Lord by a swift and shocking victory-capturing Pelagir via it’s already bribed governor before Gondor could react just in time, then using it as the bridgehead to take Osgiliath,Gondor’scapital via the Anduin river by surprises. Just as such psycho warfare worked, those already betraying or wavering ofthe Harrad states or Gondor Northern local military took it’s majorration would turn coats right away.
