Hello!

While reading HoME XII "The Peoples of Middle Earth" I found the following quote in Note 7 attached to Of Dwarves and Men:

But Curufin, dearest to his father and chief inheritor of his father's skills, was wedded, and had a son who came with him inteo exile, though his wife (unnamed) did not. Other who were wedded were Maelor, Caranthi.

Are Caranthir's and Maelor's (maglor's) wives named anywhere?

As far as I can recall, they aren't named anywhere either.

It's good to see you back!

UNfortunately That seams to be the case.

It is good to be back, but I'm surprised of the fact that you remember me.

The one thing i am most upset about is the incompetion of the family trees for the eladar, I thinkk that finwe had female childern aswell, as it said that aFinwe wanted many childern.

According to "The Later Quenta Silmarillion" in HoME X Finwë had three daughters with Indis, Findis, Faniel and Írimë (also called Finvain in one location). According to a text written later in Tolkien's life in "The Shibboleth of Fëanor" of HoME XII Finwë only had two daugthers though, Findis and Írime (also called Íren).
