It is written on this site that the Mordor army at the siege of Gondor consisted of 600,000 soldiers.
however, it is written on this site that there were 100,000 orcs and 1000 balrogs in the battle of the nirnaeth arnoediad.(under the heading of notes)
Do you think these data are correct? Did peter jackson really put more orcs in the siege of gondor than in the nirnaeth arnoediad?

1,000 balrogs? I think not.

The Gateway article covers many versions, and is careful to differentiate them. It points out that Tolkien greatly reduced the number of balrogs in later writings. Since none of these were published by him, anyone is free to pick the one they like best, based on whatever criteria they prefer.

As for the Fandom Wiki, cautions have been urged here before. Personally, I wouldn't put much credence in a site that gives Pippin Took as a "commander".

It says so on the site.

Then to the books, my friend . . .

"There came wolves and serpents, and there came Balrogs one thousand, . . ."
JRRT, Of the Fourth Battle: Nírnaith Arnediad

"There came wolves and wolfriders, and there came Balrogs, and dragons . . ."
Of The Fifth Battle, The Silmarillion [same battle]

So why did Christopher Tolkien edit out the reference here to one thousand? I think it's because he was aware -- even if JRRT had not himself edited every reference to many Balrogs -- he was aware that his father was at least thinking about drastically reducing the numbers of Balrogs.

For example, in possibly around 1958, Tolkien himself edited this passage [From The Annals of
Aman], and wrote the note that follows: "a host of Balrogs, the last of his servants that remained" edited by JRRT to "his Balrogs, the last of his servants that remained faithful to him" And in
the margin JRRT wrote: "There should not be supposed more than say 3 or at most 7 ever existed."

And as SES noted, Tolkien himself never published his Silmarillion, thus (again, or so it seems to me] Christopher Tolkien edited the 1977 Silmarillion in such a way as to make the numbers pretty vague.

Some of this information is from a post I posted, titled Balrogs in a Basket -- for which I received positive reviews -- although it should not be supposed that more than 3 reviews ever existed!

:)
