There's tons of artwork out there but I figured maybe we could use this thread to share some of our favorites that we've come across by other artists. If you post any, try to give credit to the original artist in your post. I'll start, I found this on Reddit this morning of Turin vs Glaurung...

Not an exact quote, but close...

they came to the opening in the wood and saw knights in bright mail and tall guards in silver and black standing there, who greeted them with honour and bowed before them. then one blew a long trumpet...a wide green land and beyond it was a broad river in a silver haze...many ships lay by its shores. On the field a great host was drawn up, in ranks and companies glittering in the sun. Horns and trumpets sang.

I kinda like this one in spite of the surreal-shaped islands


This one's pretty good too. Gotta respect that someone thought to bring their tuba...
 
Bing AI gave me a fairly decent Old Man Willow (if I'm not too picky about leaves being not very willowy) on the first try, using Tolkien’s words…

In the old forest...there wound lazily a dark river of brown water ...a huge willow-tree, old and hoary. Enormous it looked, its sprawling branches going up like reaching arms with many long-fingered hands, its knotted and twisted trunk gaping in wide fissures that creaked faintly as the boughs moved. The leaves fluttering against the bright sky dazzled...great winding roots grew out into the stream, like gnarled dragonets straining down to drink.
 
Puertoricans are sometimes known for our obsession with our flag. Here I asked some AI generator to do a Puertorican wizard inspired in Tolkien's work.

Flag has more stripes than the actual 5 stripes, but it got the job done.

I had to add a few phrases to get this one, but it's mostly Tolkien's words:

...the king's white tower amidst the white city was beset. High up they could descry the form of the king atop the tilted tower as it fell, but about the base a serpent of iron spouting flame lashed and rowed with his tail, and Balrogs were round him; and there was the king's house in great anguish, and dread cries carried up to the watchers. Behold, the tower leapt into a flame and in a stab of fire it fell, for the dragons crushed the base of it and all who stood there.
