On the 🧙Maiar

[grimalkin]

Just completed reading 'The Song of Middle-Earth' David Harvey, the author brings up two points which struck me, and as you can see I'm bragging about it here. On creating the dragons did Morgoth invite the spirits of the Maiar to inhabit these, for they ended up being stronger than Balrogs and those were Maiar. Second point why would Shelob be afraid of the vials light while Ungoliant its parent devoured all the light it foundk?

Shelob was far less powerful than Ungoliant.
