Questions About Arda Reconstructed

[1stvermont]

I am almost done Morgoths ring and next is the war of the jewels. So my question to anyone who owns it. Is it really needed if you have Morgoths ring and Jewels? and what text does it argue should be the true Sillmarillion?

Thanks.

AR partly intends to make source texts easier to track down, and is not limited to MR or WJ.

The book doesn't argue for a single text, but does question a number of Christopher Tolkien's choices with respect to the 1977 constructed Silmarillion. I own AR, although I usually go directly to HME or wherever, as I had been doing that years before AR was published anyway.
