So too did Alqualisse and I meet online on The One Ring . com, commonly called TORc to differentiate the place from the more popular TORn (The One Ring . net). It was a longer, slower burn for us before we got together though as we had some previous personal business to resolve before it could happen. We married in 2008 and just celebrated 16 years.
My partner and I met on "FFN" (fanfiction . net). I fell into the black hole that is Potterverse and after eating through those books and remembering how people here on TTF had written their own stories in the Middle Earthrealm, I went hunting for Potter fans who'd done the same. We were friends for a few years before we got together, but a decade after the fact, we're still going strong. All hail nerds, right?
