Far over the mountains, past Mordor, past sand,
two Wizards went wandering, hand upon hand.
They wandered through jungles, they wandered through snow,
but where they were going? They just didn’t know!
One said, “We’ll fight evil! We’ll rattle its knees!”
The other said, “Sure—but first… more of these trees.”
They studied some turnips, they petted a yak,
they wrote up a plan but forgot to come back.
While Gandalf made fireworks, grand and quite bright,
and Saruman schemed in his tower at night,
while Radagast chatted with squirrels and birds…
the Blues? They were footnotes. Two tiny small words.
So if you should wander to Tolkien’s big lore,
don’t look for the Blues—you won’t find much more.
For off they both bumbled, with hats tall and floppy,
the “Wait, who are they?” Wizards… forgotten and sloppy.
Oh, the Blues you won’t see! Oh, the Blues you won’t know!
They’re somewhere in Rhûn with no place to go.
Oh, the Blues you won’t meet, in the stories you read—
just Wizards misplaced, like a half-written deed!
