aragorn. i think he is the best because his character in tlotr seems the coolest. also aragorn had to lead them through tough times which he got them through very well. i like legolas second if we could have picked 2. i dont know why i like him second maybe because elfs are great.

he didn't have to do anything except talk...what could be greater than that! oh yeah...I chose Elrond

OK Tar-Ancalime, now tell me who is beating elrond oh lets see, hmmmmmm o yes i remember almost everyone. and tell me what elrond did other than talk, hahahehahe!!!

please dont bad mouth aragorn!

Dundorer, your being awful mean to me... I stated my opinion this is an opinion poll.

sorry, i was in a bad mood because of somethings one of my friends did to me. i shouldnt have takin it out on you.

Of the presented choices, Aragorn. I'd have picked either Halbarad or Éomer as a 2nd choice. Or maybe Elladan or Elrohir.

I'd like to be myself** living in ME, in the Shire if that were possible (which it isn't because the King has forbidden it), so maybe near Bree or the Grey Havens.

**I have never been able to envision myself as a particular character or someone else... maybe that's a personal shortcoming (one of many), showing a lack of imagination.
Yet, I could be A soldier of Gondor, or AN elf or one of the Rohirrim (but not a dwarf or Hobbit...or Ent)

And ,yes, as someone else mentioned, the list omits Tom ...*sigh*...once again Tom gets the short end of the willow wand. 😠

Out of the presented options, Smeagol/Gollum I think would be funny, but it would probably be impractical. In a more serious choice, probably Aragorn.

However much I love the Shire, though, I might have to move to Far Harad or beyond, because I'm not sure how long I could survive without visiting the Desert.

Hmm, pretty much the opposite for me. I found the Shire to be absolutely beautiful, even if inside of a hobbit hole really isn't all that great of a place to live (the plumbing wasn't functional last I checked). Personally, I can't wait to leave the desert whenever I can (unless its camping). If I had an option other than the presented characters, probably Eowyn.
