Southfarthing

Southfarthing was a rural area that was the homeland to several Hobbit families like Gamwich and Cotton. Longbottom.

Here was located the warm and fertile land Longbottom famous for its Pipe-Weed. Certain notable features of this area are,

• The road leading to Sarn Ford.
• Town Pincup

South Farthing was also the residential area of the Sackville-Bagginses. Around the end of the Third Age, Lotho Sackville-Baggins rose to power because of the massive inheritance from his father.

Saruman stationed agents in Southfarthing during the Third Age due to his growing interest in the Shire.
