Let me make one point clear: he cares about me. It's not like that bond could be sundered (after all, you totally know what happened when it was sundered once, right....? An entire series of tragic events followed.....)

Námo did once say that my heart might have "desire[d] Taniquetil"....but at some later timeless moment he forbid me from leaving. He revealed too much to me, confided too much into me....and now we both pay that price in an unbreakable bond.

Sorry Varda...but you're not getting me back upon Taniquetil. Plus, if I ever returned, Ilmarë would bind me there. I wouldn't want that....​

Oh yeah, and I never actually got to post any of my thoughts about the actual MBTI stuff because this thread got so derailed and became the origin of the Cloning topic!

So first of all with the original post, I disagree with Fingon being INFP. I think he's ESFP. Action-oriented, somewhat impulsive at times, and guided by his personal feelings.

I find it amusing that they had just "Elves" in general as INFJ! So an entire species all has the same personality... okay?

For Fëanor, I think ENTP would be a better fit for him than ENTJ. Fëanor is NOT a J type. I think he's way more the scattered/disorganized genius than the methodical genius. An ENTP is guided by their intuitive ideas firstly and then secondarily their internal sense of logic. Whereas ENTJs are guided by external principles of logic first and foremost. Important distinction there. (All this has to do with the cognitive functions theory which is what MBTI is built off of, and in my opinion it's way more thorough and nuanced than MBTI alone, but that's a discussion for another day...)

And according to this, I'm Cirdan and Varda!
