I found some of the Silmarillion characters MBTI

Well, I guess I need to figure this out now, as someone has asked me in a PM what my type is.

(Actually, they've asked me if I'm a very specific type, which I suspect means they've come to a pseudo-conclusion based on my behaviors on the Forum, and seek confirmation of their perceptions.)

Anyway, I suppose it's not a bad tool to avail onesself of and see what flops out. (I suspect, if I understand it rightly, it may change given the mood of any particular individual at any given time... but we'll see what I think after I actually get to the end of it.)

Gotta find where to go to make it happen... off I go into the forest again for a time.

Well. It SAYS I'm an INTJ-A.
Looking at the 'descriptions' it comes up with afterward, I do think it reflects some things fairly accurately.
But... so do soothsayers and crystal ball readers. (is there a difference between those two?)
And psychologists, and psychiatrists.
And even politicians and sports players.

So... there it is.

Oh my... the more I read some of this tripe, the less it sounds like tripe.

It's actually what I thought you'd be though I never mentioned it!

It's pretty good overall in explaining. I've yet to find something completely off for anyone I know who's taken it!

We're INTJ buddies! 👨‍❤️‍👨

Same as me.
These personality types try to describe how you think (the way your mind generally processes things). I reckon they describe things pretty well, though everyone will still turn out different based on their upbringing and what they choose to think about.

INTJs are one of the rarest types in the world.
INFJs are the rarest type!
Yes, and the other "rarest" and "one of the rarest" types, are all the other types the test produces.

Having pondered Humanity in all its glory(?) for a very long time now, I will say this... we may be able to 'generalize' about certain people and their general being given how they feel about themselves on the day they take such a test...(a very changeable, and constantly changing, thing)...but every single one is an individual.

They're like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get.

Everyone: INFJs are the rarest type!

Me: *signs up on a personality type forum and meets a bazillion other INFJs*

Also, I've had multiple INFJ friends in my life. I think we can sense each other. 😂
What is funny is that in my friend group from middle school, we have two INTPs, an INTJ and an INFJ. It's like a rare type party here!

p.s. - this is why we must always be in a 'proactive' state, rather than a 'reactive' one.

The 'proactive' state deals with what IS... not with what 'might be.' It is creative, and on-point.

The 'reactive' state either deals with what IS from a pre-determined set of 'possibly successful' response criteria, or deals with what 'might be' out from predefined suppositions and expectations. Both will be inadequate to the moment.

The friends I've had where I've known their type: INTP, ENFP, ENTJ. They were rare finds to me. They did not act like most people. Probably why we became friends.
Also, I think you'd find a greater amount of introvert and intuitive types online. The extrovert and sensor types are a bit more likely to look for social interaction in person.

Extroverts: partying their twenties away

Rare introvert types on different forums: So I found this little ladybug today, and I've appointed it to mend my Converse shoes.
