Because currently watching "The Three Musketeers " 1993 movie on Disney+, and he plays the character D'Artagnan.
And everytime i see him ride a horse i imagine Robin on a horse from Batman Forever for some reason. I would imagine same way if he played Frodo Baggins.
Just curious to how you think LOTR would be different if he played Frodo?

I am tainted by my view of Chris O'Donnell in roles all casting him as a rather smug, self-absorbed, arrogant piece of work.
I've not seen him play a role sans those particular attributes, and can't envision or even imagine him handling a role requiring humility and consciousness of others with any kind of success.
He's just not much of a Tolkienian hobbit.
How would it be different? Given LoTRs other departures from Tolkien's works, I'm not sure it would be quite so much different, though the character Frodo would most likely have been unlikeable for me.
