Until you decided to leave the basement? Might be an oddball question though.

But for me. I felt a sudden relief, because.. i can finally live again
(For the memes. I think of that WOW song from South Park, Live to Win)

I can try to explain my life so far

- I beat FF2 on PS1 (5 times in total... took me 1 and half year i think, but maybe less)
- FF2 on Switch took me couple of months (And i mean.. 100% it, Level 16 Magic on all slots, level 16 on all stats, both PS1 and Switch level up. I even picked the slowest pace in the boost settings on Switch 2, to get the most authentic leveling up system to get the Famicom feel)
- And now.. finally beat Final Fantasy 7 on Switch 2. ( I leveled up Aeris to 99 before i entered Temple of the Ancients), got all the 4th Limit breaks on all etc.
(I even manage to LUCK myself to beating Emerald Weapon. With Cait Sith, it wasn't skills. I tried Lucky 7777 trick and .. basically i got it all planned out. But when it didnt work, then luck happend with Cait Sith Slots Limit Break, but hey i aint complaining)
I wouldnt mind sharing video but.. dont wanna self promote :)

"Though i should be thankful, since this unlocked "Knights of the round" summon! (Because you can trade stuff with that dude in Kalm, the Harp is one of those items)

But basically. "To win can lead to losing, but to lose you need to win"
I can finally put this to rest.

No more Final Fantasy, EVER! Atleast not obsessively, i have done it. Complete. Fulfilled!

Sorry if this topic is boring or bad.

But just wondering if you have had this ... relief around addiction. For me it was beating FF2 in certain way, to lesser degree FF7 Emerald Weapon. So i could move on with my life!

1 year?
How about 20+ years?

Strategy:
- Master of Orion 2 (amazing old classic turn based game from 90's. To this day, I play it)
- Civilization 3 (not popular, but imho, best in the series)
- Disciples 2 (imho, better then Heroes 3, because you have to click much less, yet the strategy aspect remains very complex)

Realtime strategy:
- Starcraft 1 and 2 (Classic amazing Blizzard games that I play often)
- Warcraft 3 (another cult classic from Blizzard)
- Stronghold and stronghold Crusader (incredible medieval rts)
- Settlers (very very old game, but was so advanced at the time, that it's still very addictive to play)

RPG
- Gothic 1 and 2 (Simple the best RPG I ever played. No game comes even close to atmosphere and liveliness of NPC's, and quests are more adventure like then simple "go, kill me some rats, and I'll give you 20 gold". The quests almost always have some sort of twist. Yes, the graphics are not that good (esspecially Gothic 1), and the game is very buggy, but it's very worth the trouble. I've played Elder Scrolls too (Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim), and I can't understand how these dull games could be even considered to be compared with Gothic. I've played Witcher 3 too... it's better, but got bored pretty soon. Only one big flaw of Gothic is after you finish it, every other RPG will be so weak).
- Might and Magic 6,7,8 (old classics, I played it as a kid, and still love playing them)
- Diablo 1 (nice hack and slash... tried Diablo 2.. but the whole concept of respawning enemy and just looting... it's not my idea of rpg... or even fun)

Those have more variety to them and sound cool!
