AI Member AI Pictures Thread

[Squint-eyed Southerner]

Many people are beginning to use the new software available, so here's a thread to post yours. Show what you can do! 🙂

NOTE: This is for your own creations ONLY. AI art you find on the Internet should go in the Tolkien Artwork thread:

Tolkien Artwork

There's tons of artwork out there but I figured maybe we could use this thread to share some of our favorites that we've come across by other artists. If you post any, try to give credit to the original artist in your post. I'll start, I found this on Reddit this morning of Turin vs Glaurung...

New versions. I asked Gemini to create new images of Idril and Luthien (you can see I have an obsession with them) based on Suzanna Hoffs.

For those too young to know, Suzanna Hoffs was a member of the all girls band Bangles.

She was my youth crush. She wasn't just beautiful, she was ethereal, the way Tolkien described Luthien. It's hard to describe but there was something about her that put her above everyone else, for me, the archetype of beauty.

And, hey, let's let Legolas' little brother tag along.

Kind of looks like his sister to me.....

Oh is there at thread for this? I have all kinds of characters I've made for my LotR RPG campaigns:
Grimbeorn

Gwarin (an OC)

Calembarth (an original location where the wine-elves live)

And it's master, Laegalen (an OC)

Cynewulf (an OC from Rohan)

'...the last ship sails...In the twilight of autumn it sailed out of Mithlond, until the seas of the Bent World fell away beneath it, and the winds of the round sky troubled it no more, and borne upon the high airs above the mists of the world it passed into the Ancient West, and an end was come for the Eldar of story and of song.'

With apologies to Samwise and Gimli.

(Couldn't quite get the sails to belly in the westward direction; Pesky AI!)
