in the movie: Lord Of The Rings, legolas the elf had blond hair, but it was only the Vanyar and the Noldor of Finarphir's heir that had blond hair..... also, on wheatertop the Hobbits are eating tomatoes, but in middle earth they didnt have tomatoes...... nor did they have corn, but in the...

All right, I think if you are a purist you want Glorfindel for the Flight to the Ford, not Arwen. There are complaints that putting Arwen in the position slaughters her character, turning her into warrior princess. Others like the idea. There is the arguement in PJ's favor that it would...

(this covers both FOTR and TTT) Tolkien's Legolas is a lighthearted singer seldom daunted by anything, with long poetic speeches (like most of the characters) and almost no character development at all. Jackson seems to want to give characters more depth by having them grow and change as a...

Too Hollywood-ish and a bit corny OR Really really cool?

Who would win. I picked Glorfindel.

I remember reading some fantastical visual capabilities in the books - Obviously his (as well as elves in general I presume) acuity is well beyond 20/20. I'm just curiuos what kind of visual feats he's accomplished. What size objects has he been able to see at what kinds of distances? thanks! -T

What is the past (i.e. previous to LoTR) history of Aragorn and Legolas? The question came to me watching the CoE, when Legolas rises to Aragorn's defense from Boromir, saying something like "..you owe him your allegiance". Does Legolas know this because the Elves generally are aware of...

What colour is legolas' hair supposed to be? Really i just want to know for artistic purposes. In the film it is obviosly blonde, but, i think it says in the book somewhere that all elvces apart from the ones of lorien have dark hair. I think legolas' carachter sort of suits blonde hair if...

This is a beginning of a tale written by my friend, Alyca. She is obseessed with Legolas...I find it good... for being one from a non-lotr, legolas obsessed movie goer. Legolas jumped off a hill and ran through the darkening forest. Arrows whizzed by his head and he barely paused to let...

It would be a hard fought battle, but I think Legolas would win.... You?

This is pretty much a straight-forward question: Could Legolas wield magic? I know he was an elf (obviously) and elves can wield some magic (obviously), but there are no accounts, to my knowledge, of Legolas using elven magic; why not?

Hi everyone. I am not sure if this question has already been posted. If so sorry to repeat. I was wondering, why did Legolas' eyes turn blue in the TTT. I noticed in FOTR he has brown eyes but certain scened in TTT they are blue. If anyone has an answer please let me know. Thanks.

I am really cursed.I hate Legolas and Orlando Bloom, but my girlfriend gave me a present and it was an enormous poster of Legolas.I had to put it on the wall and now when I go to bed I always see him watching me.That is real curse..............The curse of Legolas:mad:  :( :(

I like Legolas in the movie, I want to read the books real bad but they are always checked out everywhere up here. If you like Legolas for any reason pm me. and if you don't please don't reply to this its kinda rude. thanx oh and I'm new so help me out if I do somthin wrong. and if anyone asks...

Lenaela got mad at me and Gil-Galad for posting our dislike of Legolas in her thread and told us to start our own thread, so thats what I'm doing.:D So..... who doesn't like Legolas or doesn't care for him and why, and when we get enough insults against him I'll post it in her thread.:D

ok... here is the thing. I want to know if anyone knows where to buy Legolas's knives online. If you know please tell me. Thanks.

Has anyone noticed that Legolas has 2 different eye colors? When I saw the preview for TTT they were light blue, but in FoTR they looked brown. Is this an editing flaw or whats going on??

Questions, questions Ok, so what if I'm too lazy to dig these out? 1. Did Legolas really fight in the first battle against Sauron, when Isildur cut the ring from his finger? (If so, where is this told?) 2. How old is Aragorn. I seem to remember him being 75, but I can't find it...

I just thought someone might find it interesting. It is ok but it is not as nice as the one Legolas carries in the movie and does not have the silver bow-tip end nocks. "D"
