We have topic about Arwen's shoes. So now it's time for a Galadriel. What kind of shoes does she wear in LOTR and Hobbit movies? I guess that some kind of sandals and boots. I found a picture of her boots, probably used in movies.
That you can watch the beginning of the Fellowship (up to where Frodo talks to Gandalf about taking the ring, and Rivendell about going to Mordor and learning of Sauron), and then skip to the crack of doom in Return of the King and basically understand what panned out - the ring was destroyed...
How old were you when you first read The Lord Of The Rings, and what made you want to read it?
I was 11, we had gone on holiday to Ireland and even though the only LOTR stuff I had seen before was the Lego sets, Ireland still made me think of Middle-Earth, and that was that.
So Tolkien always intended for his stories to have been written by characters in universe however as far as I know the Hobbit which in universe is named ''There and Back again by Bilbo Baggins'' is the only book who's in universe author we know, hench why there can be two versions of the...
Going through LOTR once more - I keep picking up on Pippin. What he says, what he does, his experiences and interactions with others.

I came across an article by Kevin Aldrich (of whom I know nothing) titled "The Sense of Time in JRR Tolkien's Lord of the Rings".
It was published in the journal Mythlore...

Instead, he glumly...
It came to meeee...!!!
Precious idea...
I'm thinking to myself, they don't even have a chance! In today's world, LOTR is so much displayed on television that an average book reader will certainly watch all three parts of LOTR movie already as a child, before even coming to an age where he will...
Sacrilegious as it sounds, it's at least a new way of playing with imagination.
The first thing that comes to my mind is that I always wanted to see more of Sauron...
Sauron remained a shadow, which is awcourse the best way to make an impact on such a character, but still...
Imagine Sauron...
