witch king

I know i must sound like a reall dumbass, but i dont actually know who the witch king is. Could someone please help me out here, it would really help

Ok so the leader of the Nazgul was known as the Witch King Gandalf called him a Sorceror. But did this grant him any powers? As a Nazgul we always see him fighting physically never using anything that resembled the power of Gandalf or Saruman. Does he have any of those powers? I would think he...

They were both wicked men, one became lord of the nazgul, the other was still a man, but mighty, and given the job of being the "herald" of Sauron. Which one, do you think, is higher in rank and/ or could kill the other in battle?

if so what powers does he have and how would he use it?

When the Lord of the Nazgul was slain by Eowyn, did his soul depart to the Halls of Mandos like those of other men, or was his fate so bound to the Ring(s) that his doom was more like Sauron's? Any thoughts??
