I do not include war of wrath, nirnaeth arnoediad and dagor bragollach in the list. Because these wars are the most famous battles of middle-earth history and very large-scale wars. The theme of decline in middle-earth is only about the weakening of races and the decline of balrogs. That is, the theme of the decline is not reflected in the number and multiplicity of the armies. Which one do you think is the biggest and most extensive of all the wars in the different eras on the list?

I would think that the War of the Last Alliance would take this poll with ease. In my mind at least, the fact that this war involved not only the last High King of the Noldor in exile, but also the original mustering of the Numenorians in exile before they became mingled with lesser men, this war takes the cake.

Not to mention that the Dagorlad (The Battle Plain) and the Dead Marshes are an extensive region of Middle-Earth that was left forever scarred by this war. Just my opinion thougj interested to see why others voted the way they did.
