Hair Dye, Cloning and General Epic Chaoticness

Welcome to the Chaotic RP of TTF! This is a fun, spontaneous, lighthearted, and most importantly, chaotic RP which is available to anyone who wishes to join. While our primary goal is to have fun, we have a few rules in order to keep some method to the madness.
  • Firstly, each character belongs to their respective TTF user. In other words, you can't write for a character if someone else has claimed that character. If you're new to the thread, please ask the group which characters are available before you claim one.
  • Even though this thread is chaotic and spontaneous, we do have a storyline going. If you're new to the thread, please read the most recent few pages, or more, so you're caught up on what's going on.
  • Make sure to interact with other people's characters. Don't just go off and write your own thing without interacting with anybody.
  • Don't completely ignore or change the storyline.
  • At the same time, please be flexible if someone introduces a new turn of the plot. This is not a carefully planned RP, and it needs to have flexibility for any chaotic new thing someone comes up with (within reason-- it does need to connect to the main story at least loosely).
  • If you are writing for multiple characters, use a script format to indicate which character is speaking. Use asterisks* to denote action. For example:
    • Maitimo: *tries to shake Celeraccoon off his arm* STOP BITING ME, TYELKO!
  • Try to keep spam to a minimum. I would define "spamming" in this thread as writing more than a page over the course of a few hours. (This can be a tough one to follow, I know.) But spamming makes it hard for other people to keep up.
  • At the same time, if you're going to be absent for an extended period of time, we recommend writing your character out temporarily (such as having them disappear or go somewhere) so other people can continue while you're gone.
That's all I can think of for now. If you have any questions or need any help, please feel free to ask!

Poor Glorfindel. And nobody has been searching for him ever since?

Here, give me some leaf. *holds his hand up to her by the vase for a high-five
*Laurinalótë lifts her leaves to high-five back. A hearty smack is heard, softened by the light weight of the greenery.*

Poor Glorfindel. And nobody has been searching for him ever since?
He is doing well last I heard from Celandine. Thorondor's son Lárandor has taken to pretending to nibble at her, and Glorfindel "protects" her. How they have time for such games, I do not know.

Haha, this sounds adorable! No wonder she has an infatuation for Glorfindel, with him being her brave knight who “saves” her. Reminds me of when he used to play with us when we were little. Those were some fun times.

I am also glad to hear he is on good terms with Thorondor. If there’s anyone you want on your side as an ally, Thorondor is a great choice.

It seems we have another Valië of culture.
Or should I say... *looks over the top of his newspaper* horticulture

On a different note, what a smack you made, Laurinalótë! Here, give me some leaf. *holds his hand up to her by the vase for a high-five*
*is amused by this*

Poor Glorfindel. And nobody has been searching for him ever since?
*helpfully*
Nope. They have not.
It's a terrible habit of us Beleriand Noldor, apparently. Only Findekáno ignores the tradition.
...
For which we are all thankful. *sideways glance at Maedhros*
*disappears behind the paper again, certainly not hiding*

*glances from Curvo to Maitimo, giving a small, warm smile. His eyes distance out for a moment, remembering those difficult times, but as he refocuses on the present, his smile grows* He’s worth it. 😊

*Findaráto enters the room, confused as he has just returned from Valinorë back to middle earth.
His eyes harden as they fall on Curvo reading newspaper but he can't find Tyelko even as his eyes search the crowd*

Well hello little traitor. Long time no see.
*Tyelko recognizes his voice immediately but when he turns to look at him, he finds Findaráto to be looking at Curvo only. He finds it weird but tries to shield his brother from Findaráto's view in case he decide to turn violent*
*Findaráto notices the weirdly familiar looking elon but what catches his eyes more is the very cool outfit he is wearing. He smiles and walks up to him*

And who would you be, good sir? I must say I appreciate that someone is very well dressed in this rather...uh-
*He lowers his voice enough so only the two of the can hear*

Not to offend anyone but...you must agree how they all look sort of... bland, right?
I really like your fashion choice. Where did you find such a jacket? Do you think they make them in a larger size? I'd like one for myself and perhaps my brothers would like this too.

*Tyelko, confused like he has never been*
....Huh?

Well hello little traitor. Long time no see.
*Curufin suddenly hears a very familiar voice*
*he does not look up, but the borders of the paper in his hands are getting increasingly crumpled*

*hearing him approaching, Curufin slams the paper down into his lap and death-stares him with the mightiest stink eye he can muster*

And who would you be, good sir? I must say I appreciate that someone is very well dressed in this rather...uh-
*Tyelko, confused like he has never been*
....Huh?
*Curufin observes the exchange with some suspicion, though he cannot deny the confusion is rapidly growing within him also*

Thank you, brother!

*Curufin observes the exchange with some suspicion, though he cannot deny the confusion is rapidly growing within him also*
*Maitimo immediately senses tension and it makes him tense too, hoping everyone will get along and there will be no stupid fights*

Ah, Findaráto, it's been a long time since you and Kano and I last went hunting together. How have you been?

*he's trying to keep the mood friendly*

*Findaráto waits patiently for the Elda to answer him. He's been told he can come off as strong and perhaps this distinguished gentleman is a shy one*

*Tyelko takes a step backwards and away from Findaráto, not knowing what his cousin is up to but he wants to remain
cautious*

*Findaráto watches the young elfling who looks suspiciously like Findekáno approach him. Could this be Ereinion? What he tells him, though, had his eyes widen in shock and disgust*

Tye--Tyelko?
*So that was why he looked so familiar.*

*Tyelko takes more step backwards until he is by Curvo's side, covering him completely. He reaches out for the retrieved super glue tube and keeps it ready to fire*

Yeah. I guess my disguise was better than you after all. And I wasn't even trying!

*Findaráto bristles, reaching out for what looked like to be a discarded ice gun and picks it up*
You little jerk! You and that mini devil both deserve to die!
*Írissë comes and stands next to Tyelko, a frown marring her face as well*
You touch my best friend and I shove that ice gun up your nose. You like brain frost?!

*appears in the middle of the chaos*

Hey, enough! No more conflicts in Middle-Earth! We've all had enough for a while!

O-KAY! Let’s all take a step back and breathe for a minute. *steps in front of Findaráto and puts his hands on his shoulders to gently push him back, away from Tyelko and Curvo* No death threats at each other, please. We’ve had enough of them.

Tyelko: No worries, sweet Írelilta, I can fix this.
*He turns to Findaráto with a smug smirk*
This is custom made, actually. Moryo made it for me. If you want one, you have to--
*Brings out a legal document out of nowhere*
Sign here, here, and here that you no longer hold any grudges against me and my brother. We promise to forgive you too for your betrayal to us.

*Findaráto glares at him for a few seconds but at the end, it gaves way to a thoughtful expression.*
And is there mentioned that you owe me that jacket?
Tyelko: of course.
*Findaráto takes hesitant steps towards the pair but sighs and snatches the pen and signs where it was required*
*Tyelko holds out a hand and Findo takes it reluctantly*

Pleasure doing business with you!

Findaráto: I ....
*Snatches the paper from Tyelko' s hands and read it, but it turns out to be a divorce form*
Tyelko? Have you read this at all?
*Tyelko takes the paper back and looks over it*
Oooh sorry! Wrong paper. That was for the time my parents wanted to take a divorce and I stole this so they wouldn't be able to. Turns out you can just print it again.
Wait.
*Goes through the list of his stolen government documents, Morgoth's and Ilcamor's private documents and finally finds the real thing*
Here.
*Findaráto read it over carefully this time and finds it legit and signs it again.*
