And I just wanted Ammë hugs.They should've. 😑
I was just an Elfling and I woke up thirsty and with a headache, and... little did I know Kano was about to arrive in about a year...
This happened multiple times?! Did your parents never think a lock for their bedroom door would be beneficial for the whole household???They should've. 😑

Why do you think they had so many children? They forgot what they were like every decade. This happened multiple times?! Did your parents never think a lock for their bedroom door would be beneficial for the whole household???
They were often, um, very distracted. Not thinking about such mundane real world details. This happened multiple times?! Did your parents never think a lock for their bedroom door would be beneficial for the whole household???
That leads to this question as to why there's such a big age gap between Kano and me, and Curvo and the twins? Why do you think they had so many children? They forgot what they were like every decade.
It was only due to Ambarussar's joint effort that we didn't go past seven.
Interesting how you did not feel the need to protect them from the monsters.Atar just told me there were monsters in his and Ammë’s bedroom, and I should never go in there unless directly invited, for my own protection.
I obeyed.
I wanted to, but Atta said he was protecting Ammë from the monsters. If they saw me, they would eat me.Interesting how you did not feel the need to protect them from the monsters.
Fingon the Valiant who?
Am I the only one who’s not scarred here by their parents?!Finrod:...ah... I...I have a story too. I saw my...my parents doing it while I was rummaging through their closet for the candies Ammë had hidden...and I...I couldn't get out!
E tu, sister?!?Íri: I believe so. Arakáno traumatized me, I traumatized Turo and so on...
*raises eyebrows*Finrod:...ah... I...I have a story too. I saw my...my parents doing it while I was rummaging through their closet for the candies Ammë had hidden...and I...I couldn't get out!
Fortunately, I appear to have avoided this all too common fate.Am I the only one who’s not scarred here by their parents?!
*Accepts the handkerchief Tyelko gives him**raises eyebrows*
My condolences, truly.
How? You did not give Atar a break!Fortunately, I appear to have avoided this all too common fate.
I suppose spending all day in the forge with him tired me out. Not that I realised it myself. How? You did not give Atar a break!
You're an idiot.I suppose spending all day in the forge with him tired me out. Not that I realised it myself.
But there almost always came a point where Atar stopped what he was doing and brought me back to my room for a nap. I was certainly not sleepy at all, but without fail I would find myself waking up the next day. It made me a bit superstitious about Atar's powers, and one day I spent an inordinate amount of time in front of the mirror trying to find the 'off' switch he had clearly installed on me at some stage.
But then when I was older... well, I always listened before entering closed rooms, just in case there was something worth hearing before I interrupted. *sneaky smile*
Sometimes what I heard told me to come back later.
*frowns slightly*You're an idiot.
Nothing's changed since then.*frowns slightly*
I was only small.
(I used to do surgeries on my cousin and bring out those squeaky chicken toys out of his stomach.)(Lol, this just reminded me of when I was little. I knew about bandages, syringes, scalpels and stitches, but I thought people's solid bits like bones were welded back together with a blowtorch. And maybe wrenches were also used to fix problems in the abdomen. Because a person with their tummy open is like a car with its hood open apparently. All based on my own observations of the world around me, and I eventually corrected myself naturally as I learned more over time.)
(Okay, now I'm having headcanons about Curvo attempting to be a healer and thinking about things this way. 😂 )(Lol, this just reminded me of when I was little.
