Sauron was the maker of the One Ring, and his powers that he had filled the Ring with were controlled by him when he wore the Ring. IMHO he could not turn invisible, though. Because if he could then why didn't he become invisible during the battle and kill people invisibly? It would be much more effective..
You may be right. But i've another idea. You remember Tom Bombadil with the ring?He was seen by the hobbits and Frodo was surprised too.I think that The Ring has no invisibility power on maias. What do you say to this?
Note:I've been looking for the soundtrack of the Last of THe Mohicans. But i could not find it as an mp3.Can sb.find it for me?
(I do not want the main title.I want the promentory)
There are several threads on the forum on this subject. The Ring's invisiblility effect is a side-effect: in fact, it is the visible symptom that the wielder has entered another "dimension": the wraith-world. Whereas mortals have no connection with this world, Elves and especially Eldar have a foot in this world. Ainur are in both worlds at the same time. The Ring cannot make them enter a world in which they already are, and thus has no invisibility effect over them.
