Sometimes I write random stuff, and I'll post it here. I'm open for suggestions, please let me know about any improvements that I can make to my writing.

Down below the evening’s light
Where shadows play their song
Lie tales told of quietude,
Lie tales told of renown.

Upon the heather and the heath,
On the forest ground
Dancing about a silver wreath
The shadows play their song.

A song that sings of silver rest,
A song that sings of dawn
A song that sings of fountain-falls.
A fountain where some drown.

Do not watch the shadows
When you listen to their song.
For they are but an echo
Of what lies beyond.

Heed not the shadows,
But find out what is true.
Though the song of the shadows may be loud
Listen! The truth is whispering to you.

Perhaps if you tiptoe out to the grain silo tonight
Under the light of the autumn moon
You may hear the soft whisper of corn
As it trickles out under the moon’s bright light.

It spills out of a hole in the silo wall
To lie on the ground by your feet.
The ground is fertile, it is true
But the air is that of fall.

The ground is fertile under a bright moon
But no hand has touched the corn.
So now I must ask you: will the corn grow
Although it has not been sown?

(This one might sound like it's about the spambots, but it's not)

Far over the rolling hills of alder-land,
Over the sea of grey and green
There lies a place where is is always tomorrow,
Although the morning of the day has not yet began.

In the valley there lives a young man
Who has everything and everything lacks.
He stands outside of his house, sadly looking at the moon
That waned as it waxed.

A field grows beside his house
With wheat that was threshed before it was sown
It yields no harvest: for the harvest was eaten
Before the first grain was grown.

The house is empty, silent and cold.
No laughter of children echoes its halls.
For the children died before they were born,
And the night fell at dawn.

I published this book a few days ago, you can read it if you like. It's called Tales of Alanda. I finished it a while ago, but I wasn't sure if I wanted to publish it or not. The cover art is by my insanely talented friend.
I read the sample of it. It's beautiful!
I can see where Tolkien inspired your tale, and I appreciate how you created your own envisioning of a fantasy world. I like the character and place names a lot, and your writing style is very easy and "comfortable" to read. Also, your pen name is lovely and extremely fitting. ☺️

Thanks, I appreciate the feedback! Yeah, I definitely get a lot from Tolkien, the way he writes is just so awesome, it's hard not to copy him 😂.
I enjoyed your book and the how it ends in hope and faith.
Wow, you actually read it 😲. Thanks, I didn't expect anyone to do that.

Is there anything specific you think I could improve on?
