In RotK, when did 👁️Sauron's forces send heads over Minas Tirith?

I've read RotK like 8 times and I've heard that Sauron's forces send heads over the wall of Minas Tirith! When was this?? I do not remember this part! Can someone post a quote?? Thanks!!

When the forces of sauron come to minas tirith they build big machines to cast bomb like things that explode as well as toss over the heads of those they killed on the fields of gondor. unfortunately i am not able to look for a quote right now but im sure someone has one
