This would be from earlier writings before Tolkien's mythology got integrated into The Hobbit and then heavily revised when The Lord of the Rings got made.

Because "Rings of Power" is already too late. Or i saw 6 episodes of that and i just couldn't bear to watch more after that. It just wasn't a good show, or good series.

Was just expressing my opinion on how it came across to me, and I stand by it.
The idea of a Tolkien mermaid TV series is quite a nice idea.
I just didn't understand why it had to have any mention of Rings of Power in its presentation is all.
