Is Miyazaki's criticism of Lord of the Rings ignorant and stupid?

I dont like Studio Ghibli films much to begin with. I think its because they made "The Borrowers" movie really boring to watch (Studio Ghibli title was "Arrietty"
, compared to the 1997 live action movie that was ton of fun to watch back then.

But two films i only liked is Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind (Which is a title thats hard to remember). And Spirited Away (Or alternatively called Chihiro and the Witches).
Unless we count lupin the third the castle of cagliostro movie he helped make in the 1979.

Perhaps only movies i like. His other works are just very boring and uninteresting to me.

But outside that his criticism of LOTR is basically "Orcs looks Asians and African therefor racist"
No idea what he is talking about. Since evil people comes in all shape in the books. Like Wormtongue and Saruman the White etc.
But i can only speculate. Orcs used to be Elves. And Haradrim soldiers are like the outsiders the Gondor people fight. But even Boromir turns evil when the chance of power occurs so....

Again i think Miyazaki is just looking way too much into this, and is just grumpy and cynical if thats what he sees. Here's a video about it.

But majority of the time, not a fan of Ghibli films. There is a vision there but it just never grabs me outside few movies. And also Miyazaki was part of the team that made "Moomins 1969" Tv series and said it was fine and well and disagreed with Tove Jansson, whereas Tove Jansson didnt like the violent depictions of Moomins. So i dont think he is in the right to complain about glorifying violence :p

Although i guess if i were to rant more. But Studio Ghibli have often issues with looking too much the same. Outside Spirited Away movie, that one feels unique. But other anime like Naruto and One Piece looks different than most anime. I feel its same issue Disney now is also facing with 3d CGI where they look too similar. Compare it to Disney in 1990s, where Tarzan, Hercules and Atlantis movies felt so much different interms of art, design and such.

just a little rant. But i dont get why someone would reuse artstyles over again and not try something new i guess. But i guess interms of anime some like it for the cute factor. But at the same time eh.

Just small rant on me here.

Edit: Although i guess i can kinda agree with him on Hollywood treatment usually isnt the best historically like Full Metal Jacket movie. So i can sorta agree on that.
