Wait, for real you're trying to make (any) sense of that series?
Man, I worship you, and I want to have your babies.

I'm asking because I did not see it, so my question was directed at those people that did see it.Did anyone who saw season 1 ...
To get revenge on Sauron for killing Finrod. She has no plan and no clue what Sauron looks like, doesn't consider that he can shapeshift or that he might have an army and doesn't think to suspect Halbrand. You seem to misunderstand me ...

The showrunners claim their Galadriel was on a mission, did anyone manage to figure out what that mission was?
OK. Just looking at the three "Like" button comments so far (about 4:30 AM here in Germany), your post does not meet universal approval.
It is basically portrayed as a personal obsession of a crazy woman. She just knows that Sauron is out there, with no proof or an argument.OK. Just looking at the three "Like" button comments so far (about 4:30 AM here in Germany), your post does not meet universal approval.
So @Aldarion , @Starbrow , @Ugluk , what's your take on Galadriel's mission in season one?
Or for that matter, @Halasían , @Maeglin , @Erestor Arcamen , @AaronSecret , others ...

I don't know if the eye roll emojis are for my post or for Grrladriel's* plan, but that is in fact her M.O (in fact she states it outright, as far as I can remember). It's as nonsensical as it sounds, maybe more so. At one point she jumps off the ship bound for Valinor and intends to swim back to Middle-earth. Later, after luckily being saved—twice—at sea, she admits when in Númenor how she was saved from "certain death". So, if her death was certain was she trying to end herself? 🫤 Just silly nonsense like that all throughout the series.OK. *(or ''Guyladriel" as seems to be the popular nickname)
In the end, Morgoth would be defeated.
But not before much sorrow.
For his Orcs had spread to every corner of Middle-earth, multiplying ever greater under the command of his most devoted servant, a cruel and cunning sorcerer.
They called him Sauron.
My brother vowed to seek him out and destroy him.
But Sauron found him first and marked his flesh with a symbol.
One whose meaning even our wisest could not discern.
And there, in the darkness, his vow became mine.
And so, we hunted.
To the ends of the Earth we hunted Sauron.
But the trail grew thin.
Year gave way to year.
Century gave way to century.
And for many Elves, the pain of those days passed out of thought and mind.
More and more of our kind began to believe that Sauron was but a memory.
And the threat, at last, was ended.
I wish I could be one of them.
The Irish Times organized the following syllables: (. . .) "The bad news is that Rings of Power otherwise remains epically underwhelming – full of noise and ambition yet lacking the magic of the original Tolkien novelsand of Peter Jackson’s Lord of the Rings trilogy, movies that grow in status with each passing year."
There. Much better.
