Why did Melkor not destroy the two trees by himself? If he'd do that, and by any chance could regain it's power as Ungoliant did, he'd be unstoppable as the Trees cointaned alot of energy and power inside, no?
In Lord Of The Rings, why doesn't Aragorn allow himself to have fun with Eowyn and sleep with her when she clearly wants his affections and is a beautiful woman?
If Gandalf was very hard pressed by the nazguls on weathertop while using Narya, then how come Aragorn relatively easily fought off the 5 nazguls, while protecting Frodo against the witch king himself with just a torch? Isn’t that a bit inconsistent?
It annoys me to no end when people conflate the movies with the book, as if they're one and the same. Does Gandalf ever even fight the Nazgûl in the movies, other than the losing encounter against the Witch-king? Even in the extended editions?

Why is the climax of the LOTR book (Gollum falling into the Mount of Doom) so short? I expected a more epic or complex plot.

Maybe a literal "cliff-hanger" scene would have been soooooooo much more "epic" 🙄.
