Well, the Ents didn’t want to get involved with everything going on. They just fought Saruman because he had started destroying their home. After that they just wanted to have peace and rest. And I’m sorry, but can you imagine Treebeard, or any of the ents for that matter, letting the eagles pick them up and bring them to Minas tirith?

Which is why the eagles kidnap them in their sleep.

Also, it is stated in the books that the Eagles didn’t want to get super invovled with the fight because they knew they would be succumb to the power of the ring.
So, this is not really a possibility.

Which is why the elves ride the eagles to do it and blindfold the eagles so they can’t see where they are flying to.

But, if this would have happened, I’m sure the ents could have helped some, but they all would have died. They were no match for the orcs and all their machienry. Not to mention the Oliphaunts and the Haradrim.

They could have broken open a nearby river and drowned everybody. It is their speciality.

I’m sorry, no. If the eagles kidnap them, do you really think the ents would then be willing to fight for their side?

They would when they realized they were surrounded by orcs.

The Elves would have to somehow take over the Eagles, which would be insanely hard to do, and they would lose a lot of soldiers.

Just wait until the eagles are sleeping, blindfold them, wake them up, and say “we’re going to the land of rabbits and worms.” Then they’ll do whatever the elves say.

Also, in the movies, the only battle involving men and orcs where Elves come to help is the Battle of Helm’s Deep.

Until now.

They’re much too wise to do something like that.

That’s why we only recruit the stupid ones.

So they could ‘break open a river’ that, in itself, makes no sense. The only reason they were able to break a dam at Isengard was because Saruman had ordered his orcs and men to block the source water because they were constantly burning fires where the water would run. Therefore, no they couldn’t ‘break open a nearby river’.

They could dig a very long trench to Minas Tirith from the nearest river (probably the one Aragorn arrived in with the ghost army), breaking the divide between trench and river last so that water poured down the trench, out the end, and washed the orc army away.

So... that bozo wants to blindfold and kidnap both the Ents and the Eagles 😖

Also, that last one almost makes me think he's a writer for RoP 😆

Do you think Gandalf could of outpied Radagast in his grey form? Or did he needed to be in the white evolution to achieve that?

I have said this elsewhere. The plan to give a hobbit the Ring is irrational. Would antone ever do this in the real world. But Frodo is “fated” to take the Ring because that it how it was meant to be. Even the wise do not know why.

The Ring was already Frodo's. It was left to him by Bilbo. No one had the right to take it from him. And no one appointed him to take the Ring to Mordor. He offered to take it.
