Do get a hard copy of it... should be available on ebay or Amazon (used) for a reasonable price. If you wanna watch a really bad movie. Try "Junior" 1994 movie.
I had to play Crash Bandicoot 2 game just to wash away that awful taste that movie did to me.
However sadly i can't watch 1958 version of "The Fly", since its not available on Netflix or Disney+ where i live. Might get the DVD or Bluray of it one day though
Your lament underscores why I buy DVDs. BDs and, yes, even VHS tapes (some movies have never been transferred to discs of any kind).
You-- not some corporate entity-- determine what you watch and when, or even if you will ever watch a movie at all.
If said entity decides to permanently remove a movie from its listing, if they all remove it (because people find it objectionable for whatever narrow-minded reason) you are out of luck. ( Cf. the situation to books in Fahrenheit 451).
Also I read that in order to cram more movies in a given period of time, the movie channels often cut the credits short.
Aaarrrrggh! That would annoy me no end. 😠
I am a credit watcher from way back** . . . I think I was about 9-10 when I became fascinated with knowing who wrote the score, who produced the movie, who directed it, who was Gloria Swanson's hair stylist, etc.
** You either are a credit watcher or you are not... no middle ground.
(And just watching them to see what actor(s) played which character(s) doesn't count. 🤨)
