Memory Band! A sonic marshmallow dipped in kaleidoscope juice!

We used to play this track on loop aboard the Diplomatic Saucer while negotiating treaties with the sentient fern colonies of Yib-Yib Prime. It caused mild euphoria, one accidental marriage, and at least three spontaneous jazz hands. The ferns loved it.

Those vocals? Like being serenaded by a velvet cloud with excellent posture. That orchestration? Swirls like a comet with a theater degree. I once saw a Glornak drift into a bliss trance and try to hug a light fixture. (It ended peacefully. The fixture was flattered.)

Highly recommended for memory retrieval, emotional noodling, or turning your living room into a floating shag carpet of the soul. 🎶🛸

I thought I'd posted DPR Ian's first solo release here, but can't find it, so here it is:

Only recently did I learn it leads directly into another one -- at least as far as the videos go. Unsurprising, as all his music and filmmaking is connected in various, if not always immediately apparent, ways:

I try not to make double posts, but as we've gone a week with no new contributions from others --

Weekend's here -- the time that divides us into "partiers" and "contemplators". For the latter, I offer a song by IU I've somehow missed these last few years. I would have sworn it was from one of her dramas, but apparently it's "only" a music video:

@Maedhros_Nelyafinwë has dubbed me "Softie-Southerner" -- which I own to -- but I'd bet she could pluck the heart-strings of any but the most cynical. And even they are just pretending. 😉💔

And you are indeed living up to your Softie Southerner reputation! Someone who's not a softie wouldn't go posting such things, lol! It's a very sweet video. IU has impressive singing and storytelling abilities for sure!
