In the movie Balto there is a wolfdog (named Balto) that enters a dog race even though he isn't supposed to be a part of it.

I am currently reading 1491 by Charles C. Mann and I just passed the following passage.

"The peoples of the andean societies saw themselves as members of hereditary lineages.
