Discussion Twilight Amidst the Everlasting Darkness: Discussion

Morgoth was the main reason, but the Noldor came in and complicated things, so there weren't only two sides to the war anymore.
Strictly speaking, this is more apt to the original lore, since the first military conflicts launched by the Noldor is not Melkor at all(Looking at Feanor pointed his sword at Fingofin at first), even though without casualties at last. After all, wars are always the extension of politics, if anyone of you was once or is in the military now, you might know that many military casualties might be due to conspiracies, for instances, as a EX-Taiwan ROTC, I know that "friendly fire" is always a common way to destroy your most hated colleague during combat. XD

The effects of the poison made me think of a venomous snake bite.
Well, Eöl is a bit of a snake.

Now, how is Maedhros going to get out of this pickle, I wonder? Perhaps Celegorm will make an appearance and lend a hand. He's the one most likely to be riding around.

It looks like a very fast acting poison, but Maedhros is pretty tough (and large in size), so perhaps this might slow the effects a bit.

Hmm, didn't really expect that. Eöl decides to bring Maedhros with him instead of just leaving him there. It does make sense to keep Maedhros as a sort of hostage to force Aredhel into obeying him. Though now if Celegorm and Curufin find out about this, Eöl would be in far more trouble than before. In fact I'd probably have to lay some flowers on his grave (the really stinky type that only flies like to pollinate of course).
