Aragorn... Doors...
ya couldn't have put that better. its such a short scene but the moment i saw it in the preview for TTT i knew i was gonna love the movie!!

My favorites secnes (probably in order)

-When Gandalf, Éomer, and the Rohirrim come charging down the hill. In the book, it was so awsome to read and then see it happening. It was like, the whole movie's been so depressing, then there's hope and rejocing. But anyway, I thought the music fit perfectly and yeah, just seeing all the Riders come down with Gandalf is truly breath-taking.

-Merry, Pippin, Treebeard, and the Ents going to Isenguard. Watching the Ents march off, and the music is just awsome.

-Right after Sam's little speach to Frodo, you see Faramir standing there, and then walking over to him (again, I loved the music) and saying how he understood him. Even though this part was not in the book at all, it finally made up for Faramir being kinda a "jerk." Even though he's one of my favorite characters in the book.

-At the Black Gate, Sam says "Well, that's it then. We can't get past that." Then you hear the marching and the Easterlings yelling. I loved this part, I don't know why. The Easterlings just looked great and what they were yelling sounded so cool.

fave scene would be Gandalf vs Balrog....albeit short lived, i was a little disappointed though that the movie lacked explanation of their ascension to the top of the mountain where Gandalf finally 'smotes him down!'

If I remember correctly (which can be doubted) Gandalf did fit an explanation into his retelling. I'll check tomorrow, unless someone confirms.
