Where were the 💀Nazgul in the ⚔️battle of the Last Alliance?

[Aragorn21]

Question!!!

Where were the Nazgul in the battle at Mount Doom when Sauron lost the ring?? Were they there, and if they were in what form?

[Ithrynluin]

I don't think there is any mention of them at the battle of the Last Alliance. When Sauron lost the Ring (Second Age 3441), they too went into the shadows and reappeared some time after Third Age 1000.

[Anamatar IV]

or if you are talking about that present time as far as I know when Sauron saw Frodo on Mount Doom he sent the Nazgul to get him but they were defied by the Eagles.

Ok I wanted to know that 2.

I think that the Nazgul were in battle with Gandalf & Co. when the ring was destroyed. Didn't it say that Gandalf and the rest would have been destroyed if the ring wasn't destroyed first? I think they were cornered by an army led by the Nazgul when that was going on, although its been a while since I read ROTK.

nah...

The Nazgul are at the fight at the black gates but when frodo puts on the ring in mt Doom, big Sauron sees him and sends the nazgul posthaste to mt Doom.

Too late cause wee Gollum finishies the job off before they arrive.
