Who were the 2 kings on the Argonath?

[WizardKing]

anyone know?

[Thorin]

I believe it was Isildur and Elendil

[Éomond]

Correct, Isildur was on the left, Elendil on the right.

[Valdarmyr]

In FOTR, Aragorn says, "Long have I desired to look upon the likenesses of Isildur and Anarion (Elendil's 2 sons), my sires of old. Under their shadow Elessar, the Elfstone son of Arathorn of the House of Valandil Isildur's son, heir of Elendil, has nought to dread!" Yeah, take that!

[Wulf of Dunland]

Great! I wondered who those two statues were.
