Also, just to clarify, are you a hunter who hunts elves or an elf who hunts other species, @allsignspointtoRivendell? I want to set my boundaries before I get hurt.

No worries mellon, I'm an elf hunter who only hunts other species. 😄

[Tyelkormo the Fair]

Tyelko is also a hunter who hunts other species. Although there are rumors of me *coughs* killing my own kind, which are just baseless lies.

Um, yeah... just lies... that's it... 😬

I've been wasting a lot of time on Reddit lately

Jeez-- I really need to stay away from there. 😳

Couldn't last a week in reddit. Don't know how you handle it...

[Squint-eyed Southerner]

It's good for occasional laughs, I'll say that for it.

There are several Tolkien subs, which are sometimes worth perusing, though the ephemeral nature of Reddit makes threads drop out of sight -- and thought -- quickly. One thing I've done a few times is post a link to a relevant TTF thread, mostly in hopes of recruiting new members.

Have to be judicious though -- I was accused of being a bot once.

I got out when I was told I'm being a something-phobe(I don't even remember what) and my posts were deleted. Full of snowflakes...

I have a small list of websites that I frequent (aside from the obvious ones like TTF and YouTube):

• NintendoLife (Nintendo news website)
• Indian Country Today (US news website from indigenous perspective)
• Dead.net (official Grateful Dead website which I often frequent for discussions with other Deadheads on the forums, similar to here)
• HeadyVersion (website where Deadheads have community rankings and discussions for favorite/best performances of specific songs and jams)

You can send a message to the owner of the webpage. My husband found this website when he was pretty young, middle school maybe? Every few years he would send a message, whether he was going through a tough time or celebrating an achievement. He wrote one when we got married, and we sat down and wrote one together when our daughter was born last year.

Currently down because of Reddit overloading it but it’s a webpage with literally one million checkboxes. Checking a box checks it for everyone in real time, that’s it

Almost sounds like an analogy of life at times.
'check boxes for everyone in real time. that's it. just do it..!'

I just found this. 😂 The site is a 'graveyard' for Google products, with a headstone for those already retired, and a guillotine for those which will be killed in the future.

Killed by Google

Killed by Google is the open source list of dead Google products, services, and devices. It serves as a tribute and memorial of beloved services and products killed by Google.

I like this website called the Council of Elrond. It's a bit undermaintained, but it has some great Sindarin and Quenya learning resources in the languages section.
