Boffin

Boffin is an unfamiliar name that means in Westron, Hobbitish. The Boffins were a famous hobbit family of The Shire [1] and affiliated with the Yale region in the Eastfarthing. Folco Boffin, who assisted Frodo in his passage from Bag End, and Berylla Boffin, who was a predecessor of both Frodo and Bilbo Baggins, were a significant member. So, they were a Stoor family, and in Dunland lived-long their predecessors before transferring to the Northwest.

Earlier in the War of the Ring, Buffo was theoretically to live for approximately 250 years, regardless of not being formally declared. According to the family tree, he’s the first Boffin as recorded. He resided at Yale, his traditional family home, and his wife is Ivy Goodenough. And the couple had four children.

Ivy was a member of an esoteric family, the Goodenough family, and she joined the Boffin family upon her marriage to Buffo Boffin at Yale. [2] She gave birth to the children of four, particularly; Bosco, Briffo, Basso, and Berylla.

He was Buffo Boffin’s son and he was the eldest child. He also had another familial Basso, Briffo, and Berylla. In TA 2812, he got wedded, but his wife is unnamed. His son was Otto Boffin. Bosco passed away at the age of ninety-one in TA 2858.

He’s the second son next to Bosco. Basso was Buffo Boffin’s son. His natal day was on TA 2769. He did not marry, and he had family, Bosco, Briffo, and Berylla.

He was Buffo Boffin’s son, and he was the third child. He had siblings, Basso, Bosco, and Berylla. He lived at Yale with his family, but forty years after his birth, he migrated to Bree in TA 2810. And Briffo did not marry.

She wedded to Balbo Baggins. She’s the first member recorded of the family Baggins. The daughter of Buffo Boffin and Ivy Goodenough. On TA 2772 was her natal day. She was the mother of the five children; Pansy, Mungo, Largo, and Lily Goodbody. Berylla passed away in TA 2871.

Mungo was the grandfather of Bilbo and the great-grandfather of Frodo. Mungo was Berylla Boffin and Balbo’s son. He was the eldest, and he had four siblings; Ponto, Pansy, Largo, and Lily. He wedded Laura Grubb, whom he had five children, particularly; Belba, Bungo, Longo, Bingo, and Linda. He passed away in TA 2900.

Pansy was the daughter of Berylla Boffin and Balbo Baggins, and she was the great aunt of Bilbo Baggins. Pansy was the second oldest of the four siblings. Her siblings were Ponto, Largo, Lily, and Mungo Baggins. Pansy wedded Fastolph Bolger, but both had no child.

Bungo was the eldest son of Mungo and Laura Baggins. His natal day was on TA 2846, and his family was Longo, Linda, Bingo, and Belba. He wedded Belladonna Took. He also constructed a deluxe hobbit-hole called Bag End at the Hobbiton. The couple had a child named Bilbo. Aside from being a good father to Bilbo, he was a prominent man and most remembered when he constructed Bag End because the same was the place of conference and assembly concerning the world.

Bingo’s natal day was on TA 2864, and the brother of Bungo. Bingo wedded Chika Chubb, and the couple had a child, Falco Chubb-Baggins. He was notably as Bilbo’s cousin. In TA 2960, Bingo’s gone.

Largo’s natal day was on TA 2820. He was Balbo and Berylla’s son. He wedded Tanta Homblower. Both Largo and Tanta had a child, Fosco.

Balbo wedded Berylla, and he had children; Mungo, Largo, Pansy, Ponto, and Lily. The first Baggins documented and renowned in the Shire, and the predecessor of the family Baggins, the Hobbiton. Balbo’s gone in TA 2858. He passed away at the age of ninety-one.

During the Reckoning of the Shire, in TA 2890 was Bilbo’s natal day. He was Bungo Baggins and Belladonna Took’s son. To reiterate, Bungo was Mungo’s son, the eldest son of Balbo Baggins. Bungo Baggins in the Hobbiton constructed an outsized and deluxe Hobbit-hole for his wife Belladonna, and they termed it Bag-End. Bilbo greatly stayed his life in their contemporary home. However, Bilbo, in his younger years, was nosy and keen on the world foreign updates. Gandalf the Istar wizard, got interested in Bilbo's unusual behavior and quality when he vacationed at the Shire. Bilbo reminisced about the fireworks exhibition of Gandalf at Great Smials, the residence of his maternal side. Seemingly, Bilbo exercised his rock-tossing ability wherein the squirrels and the birds fled the place once Bilbo bowed to collect a rock. In TA 2926 and TA 2934 separately, Bilbos’s father and mother passed away. He spent unaccompanied his succeeding seven years in Bag End and developed to be a leader of his own. Bilbo obtained a status of uprightness that his neighbors appreciated the most, and he had a life of a well-off unmarried man before he had an unanticipated voyage, the Quest of Erebor. Hence, Bilbo did not marry, and he passed away in TA 3021

Sapphira Boffin was a hobbit of the Shire, and she formerly identified as Sapphira Brockhouse. However, her early life is unknown. She wedded Uffo Boffin, son of Bosco Boffin, and she bore a son and a daughter, particularly Gruffo and Gerda. Sapphira originated from a precious blue stone, sapphire. Sapphira’s natal day was in TA 2857, but her death is unknown.

Rollo was Otto Boffin and Lavender Grubb’s son. Hugo Boffin and Uffo were his elder brothers, while Primrose was his younger sister. Rollo wedded Druda Burrows Boffin whom he had an offspring with but unknown. He passed away in TA 2860.

Her natal day was before TA 2860, and Rollo Boffin was her husband, the grandson of Bosco Boffin. Druda had children but was unknown. Her demise is also unknown.

Blanco’s family was unidentified, and he connected himself to the family of Boffin by marrying Primrose Boffin. They procreated offspring particularly; Bruno Bracegirdles and Lobelia Bracegirdles. Blanco’s natal day was during TA 2865.

Hugo Boffin was Lavender Grubb and Otto Boffin’s son, and he is the grandson of Bosco Boffin. He wedded Donnamira Took. Both procreated two offsprings particularly, Jago and Jessamine. Hugo’s natal day was on TA 2854 and passed away in TA 2945, respectively.

Jago was the eldest child of Donnamira and Hugo Boffin. He wedded an unidentified wife with whom he had a child, Vigo. He passed away in TA 2986.

Her natal day was on TA 2897. Hugo is her father, and Donnamira is her mother. She had a brother named Jago. Jessamine wedded Herugar Bolger, with whom she had a child named Odovacar Bolger.

Odovacar was Jessamine and Herugar Bolger’s son, and he grew as head of family Bolger after his father's demise. He wedded Rosamunda Took, and the couple had offspring, Estella and Fredegar Bolger. Odovacar passed away in FO 10 at the age of 106 years.

Griffo was Gruffo and Lila Grubb’s son, and he’s the grandchild of Uffo and Sapphira Brockhouse. Griffo wedded Daisy Baggins. He was also there while celebrating the farewell birthday party of Bilbo. Griffo's death was also unknown.

Gerda was the only daughter of Sapphira Brockhouse and Uffo Boffin, and Gerda was a second child. Her brother was Gruffo Boffin. Gerda wedded Adalbert Bolger before TA 2942. The couple had a child named; Filibert Bolger. However, Gerda passed away in TA, 3004.

Filibert and Frodo Baggins were distant relatives, and Filibert is a nephew of Bilbo Baggins by the matrimony of Poopy Chubb-Baggins. He was also there as a visitor at the Farewell Birthday Party of Bilbo. He passed away at the age of one hundred and one in FO 22.

She was a member of the Boffins. She was the daughter and the fourth offspring of lavender Grubb and Otto Boffin. Her siblings were Rollo, Hugo, Uffo. She wedded Blanco Bracegirdle, and the couple had two offspring, Bruno and Lobelia.

She wedded Otho and gave birth to a child, Otho Baggins. Lobelia was recognized as envious. Her husband Otho and Bilbo were relatives.
