Description
Featuring a slender figure, Eltariel was an elf who was quite thin as compared to other Uruks. She had sharp eyes, fair skin, and blonde hair covered by a cowl. She was clad in plated armor with an eagle motif. She wore a cloak that worked as a cape and a cowl reaching up to her legs. She also carried the twin blades on her back, but that did not slow her movement.
History
Before the events in Middle Earth took place, Galadriel chose Eltariel as her blade and gave her a powerful weapon ‘Light of Galadriel’. She was sent to Mordor to destroy Nazgul. She initially enjoyed the challenge but later started questioning her purpose as it became difficult to destroy the Nazgul permanently. When the Ring of Power was forged by Talion, he went to Minas Ithil to break the Witch-King’s siege, but Shelob had snatched the Ring from him. Tailon was surrounded by Ringwraiths. Eltariel appeared when the Witch-King dominated Talion. She protected Talion with the use of the Light and the blades before turning down Talion himself. When the Nazgul found that Shelob had taken the new Ring, he went to Cirith Ungol. Eltariel and Talion also accompanied him. Eltariel drove the Ringwraiths with the help of the Light. Shelob returned the Ring to Talion, and he pursued Sauron. After fighting with Sauron, Celebrimbor and Eltariel wanted to dominate him before he sliced off her finger. She awakened in a strange realm and confessed her defeat.
Adaptations
As portrayed in the game ‘Middle Earth – Shadow of War’, Eltariel belonged to the Galadhrim. Nothing is known of her birth. She had become a victorious warrior in the latter part of the Third Age. [1] In the game, Eltariel’s equipment is shown to be different from that of Talion. Some of the abilities of the equipment resemble Talion’s abilities. The early equipment is normal but functions like the Epic equipment. Each ability is unlocked after completing the challenge. Every piece of equipment is Legendary and can be earned by killing Legendary Orc. Each piece has a single upgrade challenge. The starting equipment is ‘Huntress Gear’. Another piece of equipment is ‘Huntress Danger’ which is incredibly powerful.
