House of Finwë was a royal family founded by King Finwe during his reign of Noldor between Y.T. 1105 - 1495.
History
The House of Finwë was established soon after Finwe's marriage with Míriel. It was further extended after his second marriage to Indis. [1] The symbol used to represent the house was a great golden sun. The House of Finwë was split into three branches after each of his sons was crowned his successor. The House of Finwe was divided as the House of Fëanor, the House of Fingolfin, and the House of Finarfin. These branches extended throughout Middle-earth. All the Kings of the Numenor, Gondor, and Arnor probably belonged to the House of Finwe. [2]
