Morannon Orcs

Non-canon alert
This subject contains information from non-canonical sources.
Morannon Orcs were a clan of Orcs bred by the Dark Lord Sauron in Mordor. These Orcs were only 5 - 7 inches in height and spoke Black Speech, Westron, or other Orc dialects. [1] These brave orcs participated in some of the most critical battles of the late Third Age, like the Battle of Osgiliath and the Black Gate. In addition, they had thick armor, which gave them additional resilience. [2] The most famous Morannon orcs were:

Gothmog

He was from Minas Morgul and was a lieutenant who served the Witch King at the Battle of the Pelennor Fields during the late Third Age.

Guritz

He was an Orc captain who served Gothmog at the Battle of the Pelennor Fields. Morannon Orc isn’t mentioned in any of J.R.R. Tolkien's works. Instead, it is a term solely coined by The Lord of the Rings film trilogy makers.
