Warg Matriarch

The Warg Matriarch appears in several instances in the movie. Her first appearance is when Yazneg and Fimbul reach the Weathertop when they fail to capture Thorin and Company. They get there to report their failure to Azog. She is present at the spot of Azog's killing of Yazneg. She sustains several injuries during Azog's duel with Thorin II Oakenshield. Azog is seen mounted on the white Warg in the movie, The Desolation of Smaug. The white Warg leaves Dol Guldur alongside Azog and the Orc army. She accompanies her master during his meet with Bolg. The Warg Matriarch is with Azog during his march towards the Lonely Mountain along with his subjects. She is also part of Bolg's conversation with Azog regarding his encounter with Legolas Greenleaf and Tauriel in Lake Town. She meets a deadly fate and is slain during the final battle of the city of Dale and the Lonely Mountain, as shown in the extended edition of The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies.
