Hi, I'm a new member here, and I was trying to find some name for my dragons in DC (Dragon Cave) in Sindarin, but I didn't know how to find a name with meaning in Sindarin.
I am looking for some names in Sindarin, one of which has the meaning of female warrior, the other has the meaning of trickling blood

Welcome to the forum, MockingSerpent!

You'll find references to some translation sites in threads on our Languages forum. In fact, I've moved your own thread there, as you'll be more likely to get a response.

I don't know what our language experts here (I'm not one) think about the following example, but . . .

. . . back when the world was young, I saw *maethril tossed about on the web in Neo-Sindarin circles, and at least once by Thorsten Renk. It looks intended to be a feminine form based on the word maethor warrior.

If it still passes for "good enough" as far as fan constructions are concerned, then for a name in the Roman Alphabet, I'd just embiggen the first letter: m > M.

;)

Thanks, I think this would be good enough, thank you for helping!

I like Sindarin sereg for blood and it's "easy" for me to remember 'cause I like the word seregon. . . but I'd have to actually work to see if there's anything that denotes trickle.

And I can be lazy.

Thank you! You've been already very helpful! Even knowing the word blood in Sindarin is good enough!
