Shameless Question Regarding Translation for Tattoo

I apologize if this is not the appropriate place to post a question like this, but I am trying to accurately translate a Jackson quote for a sibling tattoo and am getting desperate, haha.

I would love to have:
  1. "You have my sword" translated into Quenya (which I don't think is possible?), I have found it translated into Sindarin here as "le annon vegil nín"
  2. "and you have my bow" into Sindarin, which I am guessing is similar to "le annon vegil nín"?
  3. "and my axe" in Khuzdul or Neo-Khuzdul
I am willing to commission these translations but cannot find anywhere that is willing to do this, please help.

Welcome to TTF, rohan_12!

Be patient -- one of our language experts should be along in a day or two. 😊
Thank you! If they do not wish to translate it for me, do y'all have any recommendations as to where I should go, I'm willing to commission the translation. 😊

lol He may also be avoiding it. It's probably irritating having people pester you for translations all of the time.
I am always happy to help, but when personal life calls, I end up with quite a backlog of questions/requests to answer, which takes time.

@rohan_12 The Sindarin translation is partly debatable. Sadly I cannot help you with "Neo-Khuzdul" (which is a misnomer but I will spare you my rant about the idea). Tolkien never wrote down enough about Khuzdul to make it useable in any shape or form without pure invention additions to the point that calling it "a Tolkien language (even with the "fan-extended" clarification)" would be impossible, and I only deal with Tolkienian languages. So this nice idea of using different languages for each character will not work well. At any rate, Dwarves were secretive enough with their languages that they would not use it among others like this, which actually makes little sense here since none others in the Council of Elrond could really speak Khuzdul either.

Sorry for the delay, rohan_12. Let me try to contact one of our language experts.
I apologize for coming across as impatient, I wanted to know if there was someone that does this type of work for commission so I could support them and not bother anyone.

Thank you for your help (and for not throwing curses at me for asking about this, which I know is annoying). I have been trying to avoid being that person that asks for random translations on the internet, but I definitely have become one with this post. 🤡 I am (clearly) in over my head with this idea and am just going to inform my siblings that it will not work.

Understood - the original intention with having the movie phrases translated was not to have it seem as if that is what was said at the Council of Elrond, but just to have it written in the language that represented those characters the most. I was willing to use an invented language/derived language since I know that the sibling that got that tattoo would not care if it was a pure Tolkienian language, but understand that it is not considered part of his languages and that it wasn't appropriate to ask about here.

oof - I am ashamed to be that person!

No, you don't sound impatient -- don't worry about that. And it's certainly not inappropriate to ask here.

But this forum is for the free exchange of information; we rarely allow commercial posts here, and our experts on various topics, such as Elaran, are generous with their knowledge. I'm afraid if you're looking to pay someone, TTF probably isn't the place.

I would just add a caution about "experts" who demand payment. But it's up to you, of course. I do wish you luck, and I hope you'll continue to visit us. 😊

writing a story is MUCH cooler than a tattoo request haha
In that case, here's a shameless plug of the outline for it:

Of course! I haven't found anyone that appeared reputable for translation services, and this forum was the most open-minded Tolkien/LOTR forum I've interacted with, so I decided to shoot my shot here lol - any information is helpful!! I appreciate it

I was about to ask you if it is available for online reading!

It's just an outline right now. Prose is so much harder and time-consuming and I wanted to make sure I got the basic ideas down before I started.

[silly haggle]

The Timeline says: "Ardamin (55), son of Calmacil (90), leads the Edain, a small handful of Halflings, and Drughu to live on Númenor as a reward for their services against Morgoth. Gilvegil, lord of Tol Falas becomes king of Dor-in-Peredhil, which is renamed Gondor. The lives of the Númenoreans, Gondorians, and Borlings are extended."

Ardamin
and Calmacil are Quenya . . . as is Elemmacil (instead of *Gilvegil) which goes better with Calmacil in any case.

Yes, the three divisions of nobility in Dor-in-Peredhil used different languages when recording their names. The royal branch used Taliska (or the form of it that would have existed in Númenor, can't really call it Adunaic here yet), the branch from Amon Ernil used Quenya (thanks to their proximity to Noldor), and the branch from Tol Falas used Sindarin (since they were founded by Dior's son).

Okay but "Gilvegil" liked Quenya better . . . and I note all the English speaking peoples who have names with Hebrew origins, for example.

I speak English . . . said Elthir.

How would you rank these classic cartoon characters from your favorite to your least favorite: Mickey Mouse, Bugs Bunny, Alvin and the Chipmunks, Casper, Popeye, Peanuts, Garfield, The Pink Panther, Tom and
