Finwë's direct descendants were Fëanor by his first wife Miriel of the Noldor, then Fingolfin and Finarfin by Indis of the Vanyar.
Fëanor had seven sons by Nerdanel of the Noldor: Maedhros, Maglor, Celegorm, Caranthir, Curufin, Amrod and Amras.
Fingolfin had two sons and a daughter, Fingon, Turgon and Aredhel, all by Anariën of the Noldor.
Finarfin had four sons and a daughter, Finrod (Felagund), Orodreth, Angrod, Aegnor, and Galadriel, all by Eärwen of the Teleri.
There were only six people in the next generation, of which only Idril, Turgon's daughter, and Celebrían, Galadriel's daughter, had any descendants.
Which two lines of descent recombined when Arwen, Celebrían's daughter, married Aragorn, over 65 generations (human, but Númenórean!) after Idril.

Point of game isn't name every member of Finwë's family. You have 5x5 field, on every field is one member of Finwë's family. Finwë tells you, that his three sons are in the corners and cannot see their oldest sons. And that Maedhros is on D5. You must figure out where is each member of family on the board. Each revealed character give you new information. Some characters are liars, some tell the truth. Your goal is to reveal all members on the board.

The type of game sounds familiar.
And Finwë plus 3 sons plus 7 + 3 + 5 grandchildren plus 6 great-grandchildren gives you exactly the 25 names you need.
Besides Turgon's daughter Idril and Galadriel's daughter Celebrían as mentioned above the great-grandchildren also include Curufin's son Celebrimbor (of the later Great Rings), Aredhel's son Maeglin, Orodreth's daughter Finduilas, and Gil-galad, whose confused parentage JRRT never finally straightened out.

There are practically only Silmarillion characters
