What weapons do you own?

[CirdanLinweilin]

Wow! That's cool, mine is just a machete me and my Dad cut into shape with a grinder, but it would still slay an orc.

Hey, if it slays an orc it slays an orc!

[Ent]

Ent has an Andúril letter opener set on blue velvet in a wooden box with glass lid. (Somewhere in storage at the moment, sadly.)
Also big feet for Orc-stomping... and perhaps a sufficient memory of Middle-Entish to talk most folks to death.

[Squint-eyed Southerner]

I also have a Seax!

I too have a seax!

Oh, wait . . .

[Ent]

Let's watch the thread derailment, OK...??!! 🤣

Hey -- you should see me driving people out of a room with that thing!

Ent's worried about thread derailment, you could derail a train with that thing! Just play it until the driver jumps off.

Someone go tell the outlaws in the Wild West to throw down the revolvers and pick up these bad boys and invest in some lessons. Spare a lot of unfortunate casualties that way, I reckon!

[Elbereth Vala Varda]

All home-made I have:

Sting, Anduril, Nazgul sword, Shards of Narsil (although does it really count because the Anduril can transform from the Shards of Narsil and back again) Glamdring, Orcrist, Anglachel, Gurthang, and Legolas' bow.

How did you make them?

How did you make them?

Methods vary. I've used posterboard, clay, tent poles, foam, hard sheet metal, etc. etc....

Impressive!

Thank you Cirdan!

You don't want things to get uprooted?

[Deimos]

LOTR Sting, Glamdring, Anduril, Narsil, Herugrim, Guthwine, Eowyn's Sword, Boromir's sword, Hadhafang (movie sword), Strider's [movie] sword, Legolas' White Knives (note plural), Gimli's Walking Axe. On order is Faramir's sword.
(All of them UC wallhangers)
And the extremely rare Deathless (movie sword, Noble Collection) which was Thorin's sword prior to acquiring Orcrist.

Yep... you and the guy playing the bagpipes 😱

[CirdanLinweilin]

you and the guy playing the bagpipes 😱

Hey, Bagpipes were seen as weapons of war by the English for the longest time! A saxophone Is when you wanna Jazz your enemy to death. Bagpipes is when you want to overthrow them! XD

[Vorondil]

Not really a weapon, but I just finished making Thorin's oakenshield (its not oak, its made of yellow wood). Next up: Lorica Segmentata.

[Squint-eyed Southerner]

A lorica sounds like a lot of work! 😳

Thorin's shield was just a tree branch, BTW.

It'll be easier then the mail shirt my friends making!

Yes I know its supposed to just be a stick, but I attached straps to my stick.

Definitely, if he's making a Roman lorica hamata. There's a theory that the segmentata version was widely adopted because of the urgent need to replace the three legions destroyed at the battle of Teutoburger Wald in 9 AD. Easier and faster to make than mail, but it must have been uncomfortable to wear, and in need of constant repair. A lot of segments have been found. Despite Hollywood, it didn't last very long, except perhaps as a prestige item.
