Hair Dye, Cloning and General Epic Chaoticness

[Maedhros_Nelyafinwë]

Welcome to the Chaotic RP of TTF! This is a fun, spontaneous, lighthearted, and most importantly, chaotic RP which is available to anyone who wishes to join. While our primary goal is to have fun, we have a few rules in order to keep some method to the madness.

• Firstly, each character belongs to their respective TTF user. In other words, you can't write for a character if someone else has claimed that character. If you're new to the thread, please ask the group which characters are available before you claim one.
• Even though this thread is chaotic and spontaneous, we do have a storyline going. If you're new to the thread, please read the most recent few pages, or more, so you're caught up on what's going on.
• Make sure to interact with other people's characters. Don't just go off and write your own thing without interacting with anybody.
• Don't completely ignore or change the storyline.
• At the same time, please be flexible if someone introduces a new turn of the plot. This is not a carefully planned RP, and it needs to have flexibility for any chaotic new thing someone comes up with (within reason-- it does need to connect to the main story at least loosely).
• If you are writing for multiple characters, use a script format to indicate which character is speaking. Use asterisks* to denote action. For example:
  • Maitimo: *tries to shake Celeraccoon off his arm* STOP BITING ME, TYELKO!
• Try to keep spam to a minimum. I would define "spamming" in this thread as writing more than a page over the course of a few hours. (This can be a tough one to follow, I know.) But spamming makes it hard for other people to keep up.
• At the same time, if you're going to be absent for an extended period of time, we recommend writing your character out temporarily (such as having them disappear or go somewhere) so other people can continue while you're gone.

That's all I can think of for now. If you have any questions or need any help, please feel free to ask!

[Glorfindel Goldtress]

*Smiles up at him and gives him a bear hug*
Can I have a third one if I give you a kiss on the cheek?

Aulë: Now this is how I bargain with my wife.

[Fingon_Findekáno]

Aulë: Now this is how I bargain with my wife.

…I’m just gonna automatically give you two a whole tray of cookies and let you divvy them up yourselves.

[Glorfindel Goldtress]

…I’m just gonna automatically give you two a whole tray of cookies and let you divvy them up yourselves.

Yavanna: I believe manipulation this is called.

*Aulë grins and wraps his arm around Yavanna.* Nay, this is called extortion.

[Maedhros_Nelyafinwë]

*Smiles up at him and gives him a bear hug*
Can I have a third one if I give you a kiss on the cheek?

Now that's pushing it. How about you give it to me anyway for the sake of all the times I was your Fautuatar?

[Fingon_Findekáno]

Here, Ereinion, let’s go eat our milk and cookies in the corner. *ushers him back, away from the affectionate Valar*

[Glorfindel Goldtress]

How about you give it to me anyway for the sake of all the times I was your Fautuatar?

*Aulë leans over in a loud whisper.* What say you come help me next, or I mean, this year?

[Maedhros_Nelyafinwë]

*Aulë leans over in a loud whisper.* What say you come help me next, or I mean, this year?

*whispers back, intrigued* Is this a paid gig, or a volunteer position?

[Tyelkormo the Fair]

Now that's pushing it. How about you give it to me anyway for the sake of all the times I was your Fautuatar?

*Shrugs*
Yeah makes sense.
*Kisses his cheek*
Oh and I almost forgot! Here's your Mettarë gift!
*Gives him a painted wooden calico kitty*

[Glorfindel Goldtress]

Is this a paid gig, or a volunteer position?

Aulë: It's a volunteer position for those who are experienced in the arts... But I suppose payment is a consideration.

Yavanna: Be careful how he pays you...

Aulë: I only pay you that way.

[Glorfindel Goldtress]

*Gives him a painted wooden calico kitty*

Laurinalótë: Why does it look like Yaulofinwë?

[Fingon_Findekáno]

Laurinalótë: Why does it look like Yaulofinwë?

Yaulofinwë was the tiger cub, I thought.

[Tyelkormo the Fair]

Laurinalótë: Why does it look like Yaulofinwë?

Well I couldn't give him the real one because it was violent. And I had brought Yaulofinwë along just because I wanted to give him to Maitimo for Mettarë. He had promised to behave...😞

[Glorfindel Goldtress]

Yaulofinwë was a tiger cub, I thought.

Tigers are felines. And Yaulofinwë is like me. *Even if it isn't visible, Laurinalótë is clearly smirking at Yavanna.*

Yavanna: In which it was an accident I brought it to life?

Laurinalótë: Now now, let him speak for himself!

Well I couldn't give him the real one because it was violent.

I see your dilemma.

[Tyelkormo the Fair]

And here are the rest of your gifts!

To Finno: here's a map from the east of middle earth where I spent a few years exploring. I have marked all the places you might like to visit.
To Íri: pearl white silk from the silk road!
Lómion: a new bow I made solely for you. I know you lost yours on your way here.
To little Ereinion: here's the puppy I promised you!
*Brings a golden retriever puppy from a basket and hands her to him*
Promise to take good care of her!
And to my little brother: a book I found about engraving on metal. I think you'll find it extremely interesting!
To our dear Valar: couple mugs! Since you like tea so much.
*Hands them the mugs with pictures of themselves painted on them*
And to Laurinalotë: *hands her a mp3 player*
The classical songs are supposed to help you grow.

Aww, Tyelko, thank you! I do love a good map, and I appreciate you marking down different locations of interest. It shall certainly be of use whenever I can travel to the east someday. Lately it seems like I can never leave Dor-Lómin, let alone Hithlum. Have you truly gone east of the Ered Lindon before?

*Ereinion gasps, his eyes lighting up* A PUPPY!!!! Oh, thank you, thank you, thank you, Uncle Tyelko! *the puppy wiggles in the basket and licks him all over the face, with Ereinion giggling happily* I shall name you— Gwaloth!

*appears in a wisp of flame* Hey, if you don't mind, can I have something more....appealing than a black apple?

*also waves to Aule and Yavanna* Hey, it's been a while! *grins*

Would you like a chocolate chip cookie? Don’t worry, we have some with dark chocolate if you so prefer.

*raises an eyebrow* Paradoxically, dark chocolate is my least desired type. I'd rather have milk, or actually....white chocolate sounds alluring....

We have those as well. There’s a whole assortment of flavors and styles of cookies. Our Minion bakers are very productive and thoughtful. Personally, I find a good glass of regular milk and a couple plain chocolate chip cookies hits the spot just right. Or, we have sugar cookies, peanut butter cookies, snickerdoodles, oatmeal raisin, molasses cookies; you name it, they made it.

Hmm, I'd like an entire tray )or two!) of white chocolate cookies, if you don't mind....

The other tray, if I don't manage to finish it, will be for a certain Vala....
